Here are some links I found on Jim Cantore:

http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m ... _n14702193

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1101507/bio

Hope you can find the answers you want in these links.

My thought is he divorced for a reason beneficial to his wife and kids - I cannot believe otherwise.

Miss Mary, I feel as you do - I am sure he is a devoted father and probably still devoted to his ex-wife - and I would bet he still takes full responsibility for all her care. I have followed his career for many eyars and he has a heart and would never abandon his family.

Jim Cantore is divorced. He's been divorced for quite some time. His co-anchor has kidded him several times on the air about his new flame. He just blushes like a school boy. She loves to do that to him. GOOGLE---Jim Cantore Divorce and you will find all the information that you will need in order to believe. It's all over the web about the Mississippi lady. I think everybody is beginning to find out. The next step is to find out who was able to catch his eye.

Okay, fine his divorce is final.

I'm still a fan and take it rather personally when someone wants to slam the guy.

Until he says he was a lowdown, Brad Pitt kinda cheating husband, then I'll believe you.

Till then.....LOL

Besides I thought we were supposed to discuss tropical discussions on this forum, not OCM gossip?

All of this reminds of the ever-so-boring TWC message board discussions about hairstyles, clothing choices, OCM's odd pronunciations of cities, river, forgetting which ocean was on which coast, LOL - uh that would be Lisa Moser.....

But anyways, can we get back to discussing Gustav.....and leave Cantore alone.

Sorry Mary but I don't see where anyone said JC ever cheated. I said I believe he would do what's best for the ex and family - I believe he is a good man. He has been divorced over a year and has a right to find a new "friend". But I don't believe he cheated.
I agree - back to the storms.

 Hi Miss Mary,

I have nottalked with you in quite some time. Luvwinter fron Dayton here. We usually share info about winter forcasts. This thread sounds more like gossip than cane coverage. If Jim Cantore is in Biloxi maybe we will get to see some coverage from him. He is interesting to watch during these things. Does anyone know where Stepahie Abrahams is she is usually in the thick of it too. How is cinci fairing for temps Mary. Are you ready for the cold weather.

I can see where I got a little upset over this gossip. LOL! It just seemed to come out of nowhere, just didn't expect it, with Gustav.

Anyway, hello there luvwinter! Long time no see. I'm always psyched for a cold and snowy winter but we'll see if we get one or not. LOL It's always iffy, isn't it? Anymore, it seems to me. Nothing like the infamous winters back in the 70s. We've had a fairly nice summer, some hot days but nothing like last August. We could use rain though. Everything is dry. I water our trees each week, knock on wood, they're hanging in there. We did lose 2 alberta spruce trees (but in my defense the inside branches were bare). Nice to see ya again....

Good to see you chat as well. Yes we desperately needed some water. I remember those seventies storms. "78" I remember my mom waking me up to tell me school was closed because of the blizzard. I was so happy. Hopeful for a good cold snowy one this year. Back to canes. Does anyone know how many people evacuted New Orleans and the area as well as if anyone stayed? This is such a shame to have to go through this all again. Even the contemplation of it again must be fueling lots of PTSD. My prayers are with all who have to deal with this storm.
