Here is the Excel spreadsheet that contains extended Gustav data, like the kind I used to release previously:
http://www.sonicfighters.com/rattleman/ ... _EXCEL.zip
...and the HTML document that I generate with that:
http://www.sonicfighters.com/rattleman/ ... z_HTML.zip
I also have Hanna, Ike, Josephine, and Karina on that sheet as well.
As of 02/1600z, here are the stats; Atlantic is 19.1775 ahead:

I think we'll easily have 100 at the death of the 3 storms ... Ike will be a big contributor to this.

Now that Ike is 100kts+, ACE will take at least 1 point at each advisory.

Re: ACE for the 2008 Atlantic season so far=76.4925
The Atlantic season has surpassed the ACE of 2006 and 2007. I would not be surprised the ACE hits 150 or greater. 1997 had an early start and had the fourth storm, Hurricane Danny, in July. It quieted down due to a strong El Nino.

76.5025 is about 87% of a full, normal season. At this time, 2008 ranks 72nd overall for most ACE. Projecting climatologically, but weighed upon activity thus far, we should end up around 162, or 185% of normal. That would rank 2008 as 20th most active.
NTC based on normal activity through today is about 193%.

senorpepr, that would certainly be very impressive, though 7 out of 13 previous seasons have had higher ACE in the end
I personally got a feeling we may be in for an ACE that is close, if not into the top 10 of all time, not easy to know if we will yet because much depends if we can get another CV storm but currently we are really increasing the ACE in a very rapid way, no reason why Ike can't get 30-40 units overall.
