You beat me to it. I was searching to see if there were past threads about him.

I heard them say on the news this morning that it wouldn't be a "he said, she said" case. It would be based on physical evidence.

If he's guilty...what the heck was he thinking??? :grr:

What a shame....I always liked Kobe ok...even though I don't like the Lakers at all.

I liked Kobe too Kelly though he is alittle arrogant in my opinion. It's ashame for his wife and family also.

Oh well, you play, you pay!

If anyone hears a rushing sound, that's the sound of Kobe's career ending. I get the impression the Colorado D.A. has a very strong case against him.

Helen, you and I agree on this one....IMO that young woman will be crucified in the media; portrayed by Bryant's legal team and many Laker fans as "a money seeking harlot who seduced poor, innocent Kobe, then turned on him like a piranha".

One of Becky's best friends from college was sexually assaulted, robbed, and beaten when she was 20....and I'll never forget seeing her in the hospital...how frightened and distraught she was. Terri didn't deserve what that lowlife #$##@## did to her then -- and IMO neither did the young resort employee in Colorado.

Just because Kobe Bryant is a famous multi-millionaire athlete doesn't mean he's a nice guy that behaves as a gentleman around ladies....both Mike Tyson and O.J. Simpson proved that (among others :grrr: :grrr: :grrr:

What happened to innocent until proven guilty?

Not to stir up a controversy here, but I cannot help but think the young woman could be "golddigging" or "setting him up" ...

As firefighter said ... "Innocent until proven guilty"...

and what if she is a money seeking harlot?? You dont think there are women out there that would do something this dispicable for money? You guys are talking as if you know that he did it.. Im not saying he is innocent im just saying dont say the guy is guilty until you have at least seen the proof

I know a girl that said the same thing, not for money, because she was mad at her boyfriend. He almost got some serious time until she told them the truth. You never know so why go?

She could be a "gold digger"...she could also be an innocent victim of a celebrity that thought his money and fame gave him the right to do whatever on earth he pleased.

Maybe I'm biased because I know a young woman that was viciously sexually assaulted; and I come from a family with several law enforcement officers.

Don't read me wrong...I believe in innocent until proven guilty"....I also know money and fame can sway a jury in a defendants favor. O.J. Simpson murdered two people in cold blood and walked a free man....if his name were Perry Williams from Douglasville, Georgia...he'd be sitting on death row tonight (or perhaps already executed).

If this young lady is a goldigger and/or a harlot, I'm certain Kobe's attorneys will know, and exploit it to their full advantage.

One more point....

By his OWN admission, we already know Kobe Bryant is neither a gentleman or a faithful husband..

If David pulled a stunt like that on my little sis (cheated on her)...I'd knock his head off...and he knows it. Becky's been too good to him to deserve that kind of treatment.

JetMaxx, yeah, sounds like you are pretty biased. I understand that you know of some ladies that have went through assault and it is never good. I guess we wait and see what the court system comes up with on this one.

I have to agree with the innocent until proven guilty posts. that's what our system is based on. And as for O.J., if he was aquitted, there must be a reason. The only person that really knows if he was truly guilty or not is him. Not you or Me. Not that I think that he is innocent, but the fact remains, the jury found that he was not guilty. We can think what we want.

You are welcome to your opinion....but I believe in my heart that O.J. murdered his ex-wife and the other guy.

Before anyone starts labeling me a racist or some guy that just didn't like O.J....the guy was a big hero of mine when he played with the Buffalo Bills. I'd watch the Bills play the Dolphins (my favorite team at that time)...and ROOT for the Bills JUST because I was such a fan of O.J.'s....he was my FAVORITE NFL player.

I thought O.J. was really a nice guy...enjoyed him as a commentator on Monday Night Football, and in the movies he was in.

I was a lifelong fan of O.J. Simpson until June of 1994...and I tonight believe 100% he's a cold blooded murderer. :grrr: :grrr:

If this is consentual which is what his lawyers will try to prove then what should be done with her. I can't ever agree with someone having an affair while married but he is innocent until proven guilty of sexual assault.

Perry,
I wasn't trying to label you in any way. Not in the least.
