Thoughts on Danny

#1 Postby Derek Ortt » Sat Jul 19, 2003 1:30 pm

Well, what an interesting storm that we do have.

Lets assume for the moment that Danny survives the loop. It will rotate around the ridge and begin moving WSW in about 4 days. The fun begins next week-end with the approach of the EC trough. If Danny is far enough west, it should recuve before the trough lifts back out. But if it doesnt move quickly to the west, it may miss that trough, then end up being something to watch

That is exactly why Danny shouldn't of been written off or sounded like it was written off earlier this week.

It will be interesting to watch. So far it has been a fishie, but we will have to wait and see what happens in the days ahead.
