Convection is on the increase with the relatively small aerial coverage of T.D. #6 ...

I've been watching high-res visible loops for a while, and I still can't see a circulation center. If there is one, it may be on the eastern edge of the convection. But I may be looking at an elevated circulation center. I still think this is an open wave.

Here's an image I just saved with 18Z 850mb streamlines and winds:

wxman57, I looked at visible satellite loops earlier as well, and I had a hard time finding any LLC also ... I'm not saying that there isn't one or is right now ... but it shouldn't be too much longer before we know one way or another ...

I guess we'll find out when Recon gets there. Of course, that'll only tell us if there is a LLC tomorrow, not if there ever was one today.

No doubt there is an LCC there. Convection and outflow developing, and a much more symmetrical appearance. Gratly improved compared to this morning. A northerly component is evident as well. Luis, watch this like a hawk! It may not be as far from you as the track currently shows. Cheers!!
