Looking Very Open this Morning...

#1 Postby MWatkins » Mon Jul 21, 2003 8:06 am

The southern extent of the circulation may have been lost overnight...the satellite presentation from this morning looks very amorphous...

I guess we'll find out later today if they send recon out.

After the quikscat I doubt they will send out Recon, especially since it will be in view of radar and ground obs soon enough. It is definitely struggling to maintain an identity!!

VBHoutex...A Needed Rest...

#4 Postby MWatkins » Mon Jul 21, 2003 9:53 pm

It was actually nice to rest tonight...got to play in the company basketball game and take it easy getting home tonight. I kind of hope it stays quiet for the next couple of weeks...I have to move in the next 10 days and I think it will be a very busy Aug and Sept.

Know what you mean Mike!!! I don't even have a job right now, but it sure was nice to relax a little and not feel like I need to get to the computer as soon as I walked in the door to check out the latest!! I think we all could use some "calm before the storm"! :D
