What makes that "Bad news"? The fact that we won't have as much excitement? I think I can handle the bad news. Thanks OHD. I am not really "up" for another GOM system ATT thank you! :D

This kinda reminds me of Tropical Storm Helene from three years ago. Early on, it tried to fight shear but the shear prevailed near the islands and it disintegrated into an open wave. It then moved across the Caribbean and then northwestward into the GOM and developed into a tropical storm. This might do the same thing perhaps?

Could be the case of Hurricane Debby. Looking strong then shear completely demolished her. In the case of TD6 it could be the speed of the system.

It doesn't look like a TD to me right now, but the convection has persisted and after Claudette anythings possible. :wink:
