I have been searching the internet for pictures and videos of snow in rare/unusual locations, and have decided to start a thread showcasing what I have found so far. The pictures and videos are separated by location. Enjoy! :)

Yeah, that was a crazy event. Supposedly the snow and ice remained on the ground in Houston for 7-10+ days following the storm! That is hard to even imagine happening today.

I'm going to miss EWG now that he has left SETX on all the 12 days away GFS forecasted snow/ice events threads I'm planning to start.

I have added a few more cool pictures of both the 1977 and 1989 snowstorms under the "FLORIDA" section. The pictures include snow accumulated on the ground at the University of South Florida ('77), snow accumulated on the ground near Gainesville ('77), and snow accumulated on the ground somewhere near Jacksonville ('89).

Although most people don't usually think of snow in Hawaii, it's actually very common on Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea. It does snow up there in even in July and there is usually snow or ice in the shaded lava cracks year round.
