It rained today, but it was sunny the entire time. Rained fairly decently, too.

Low to mid 80's this week in this area, first time without rain in quite some time. Lows in the upper 60's to low 70's as well. Wind is coming up, and today-tomorrow's cool front, I have changed the title.

They are now calling for 64F in north Orlando on Thursday night.

Since 1997, Orlando has only had three other Septembers where low temperatures have reached a similar range, so this is definitely a pretty rare treat for you guys!

Slowly starting to get cooler. You can definitely tell October is right on track.

Tonight was a major change....very fall like. Even has the smell of Fall to the air. Could we actually have a winter this year?

Hopefully! I will be back down in Orlando for the holidays, and I am hoping I can actually get some old-fashioned Florida winter weather while i'm in town. A Christmas '83 or '89 repeat (highs in the 30s, lows in the teens/low 20s in Orlando with sleet and snow flurries) would be very welcome by me. Of course, with my luck, I will probably come down there and get an 80F and sunny Christmas while Oklahoma City is getting pounded by an 8" snowstorm. lol.

Officially, 1.35 inches fell at Miami International Airport last night, knocking the temperature down to 75F. The highest wind gust at the airport was 30mph.
I saw Daytona Beach much further up the coast had a gust to 37mph.
