Fall is here!!!

#1 Postby Scott Patterson » Sat Sep 20, 2008 10:16 pm

I took this photo not far from home today. The colors are becoming quite nice and should peak soon (probably a week).

Some of the trees are still fairly green though:

Guess it's time to enjoy it now because soon all the leaves will be gone. Right now colors are out down low and the higher mountains frosted with snow.

I was at the pool all afternoon because it was too hot to do anything else.

Nice photos's Scott, I'm sure the color's will really be poppong in another weeek or so, just a matter of time when you start posting those awesome snow pics.

P.S. Take a nice Fall photo with the snowy mountains in the back ground for me 1280x1024, I need some new wallpaper :ggreen:

I just noticed the first somewhat yellow-colored tree here in Oklahoma city today. It's only a matter of time before the other trees join in...

Those are nice pictures!

We don't tend to get much fall color here - the leaves turn brown when they dry up in a drought.

Normally this is the way it goes - it's warm... the trees are green... Blue Norther rolls through ... leaves freeze and fly off in the 35 mph winds that arrive with the Norther..

Trees are bare.

Beautiful pictures, I would love to take a walk down that path your kids are on. How peaceful, enjoy the season.

You have a ton of yellow tree leafs there! Usually they are more varied then that here in Canada.

The yellow Aspen leaves against the azure blue - there's nothing like it! Absolutely stunning!
