The way they have been hyping this system, you'd think it would be covering the state. All clouds here so far.

Yep, same here. Not a drop of rain all day, got the yard all done preparing for the "rain". lol
Made for a good day to pick weeds and mow. I think the rain will be here soon enough tho.

Looking at water vapor, the rain (and humidity) should be on the way down by mid-afternoon.

Still noda here, the ground was wet this morning but didn't rain hard enough to get the concrete under the trees wet. Not enough to measure. Looks like the south got some last night.

We finally got the rain. 1 inch worth, and I can feel the cooler weather behind it.
The wind is changing direction as well.

Still a bit too early to expect widespread 'fall-like' weather....and for south florida (SE Fla in particularly due to predominant se flow keeping nights warmer than on the SW coast) that can be considered a night below 70 degrees across all areas.

SW Fla and some interior parts of Miami-Dade and Broward and Palm Beach on the SE coast have seen lows below 70 this season...but.not yet at the reporting station at Miami Int'l (or Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood Int'l either).

Looking at prior years, the first below 70 deg min temp has occured on the following dates:

Miami (MIA)
2008 - not yet
2007 - November 3
2006 - October 24
2005 -October 24
2004 - October 16
2003 - November 14

Naples (APF)
2008 - October 1
2007 - October 25
2006 - Septembe 29
2005 -October 17
2004 - October 9
2003 - October 15
