LAS VEGAS - The jury has reached a decision in the O.J. Simpson armed robbery and kidnapping trial in Las Vegas, a court spokesman said Friday night.

"We have a verdict," spokesman Michael Sommermeyer says,

The verdict will be read about 10 p.m PT in Clark County District Court, he said.

Good riddance! I hope he enjoys the rest of his life in prison. It's not going to be pleasant. One down. More despicable people to go.

Fred Phelps/Westboro Baptist Church-Failed to pay their bonds related to their lawsuit last year. They could be out as early as this year because the sheriff will seize their property.

Michael Crook (Infamous for his anti-soldier site Forsake The Troops and admirer of Fred Phelps)-In some legal trouble related to a law firm he worked for.

Lori Drew-Faces trial in Los Angeles related to Missouri MySpace Case and could be in the slammer for up to 20 years.

Not quite the same as being convicted for the premeditated murder of two people, and then feeling cocky enough to write a book "If I did it" explaining all the details of how the murders went down.

Justice wasn't FULLY served, IMO he should've gotten the chair 10 years ago.

I can't wait til this guy with his now well-known uncontrollable temper gets to the penitentiary. He's not going to find his surrounding humans so impressed with him, nor so easily intimidated. It won't take long before he loses control and suffers the consequences. ;-)

I always thought he was guilty, but after hearing his former agent on Dr' Phil the other day, I almost threw up. His agent should at a minimum be charged with obstruction of justice and be forced to pay part of the judgment from the civil trial. I will beleive OJ is in prison when I see pictures of it. I doubt that he will be released into the general population though, unfortunately.

No matter what you think of OJ Simpson we have rules of jurisprudence in this country and you can't just lynch somebody on unrelated feeble charges with a hanging judge in a red state. This country continues to descend further and further into a mob. Juries are easily lead and swayed. This is abuse and life in prison for trying to get some stolen items back is simply cruel and unusual, grossly excessive, and an abuse of the American legal system. America is becoming a tabloid cartoon with teeth. This decision needs to be reviewed.

There's no doubt that Simpson will appeal so it will be reviewed. Why you chose to inject politics with a red state comment i don't understand. If he knew there was stolen property ther why didn't he report it to the police? What he did was wrong IMO

Even if OJ should have called the police, piling draconian life sentences on for what was a simple incident is an abuse of law in my opinion.

For what it matters, I think OJ was guilty as heck back in '94 and got away with murder.

Since he hasn't been sentenced yet let's see what happens there before we jump to conclusions. Conspiracy, armed robbery and kidnapping are what he opened himself up to be charged with when he took matters into his own hands. Who is to blame for that?

Armed robbery is a huge deal in the penal code. Typically someone convicted of armed robbery will do more actual prison time than one convicted of murder. Jacked up but true. And a bad decision for OJ.

To call the justice system lynching and injecting politics is just way off. OJ Simpson did something which could of been resolved by reporting it to police, talk to guy and negotiate something, or getting a loan from the bank and buy it back. Keep in mind, he was convicted on kidnapping, robberty, and conspiracy do add up.
