looking at the atlantic lately, the positive MJO phase is entering the Atlantic as the EPAC will more than likely quiet down over the next couple of weeks.

I expect the Atlantic to make a run starting in the mid-October time-frame. For those hoping to escape the rest of the season, perhaps not so fast yet.

This is already MJO enhanced in my opinion. Conditions aren't supporting it.

With 97L & 98L in the Atlantic, and even some other areas of distubred weather to keep an eye on in the Basin, there definitely seems to be an upswing of activity taking place...about a week after we saw the upswing in the E Pac. Seems right in line with what you would expect during the MJO phase we are in.
