Tampa Bay and its sports!

#1 Postby JonathanBelles » Fri Oct 03, 2008 5:14 pm

Not sure whether to put this here or in the sport section, but ill put it here.

With the Rays in Playoffs (going to the WS), and the Superbowl in Tampa things are looking up across the spectrum in Tampa Bay. TIA construction is coming closer to an end (finally). Central Avenue in St. Petersburg is booming once again. The northerners are about to come south. Cooler temperatures are on the way. 10-20 new grocery stores are on the way before the Superbowl. The rays game is sold out. Parking problems at the Trop are working themselves out. Tampa Bay may be the most exciting place on earth right now (except maybe Chicago...that has two losing teams in the Playoffs  )

Could sports possibly be a buffer to the world's Economy?

Sounds great. If you guys keep growing like this, you should be able to top Katrina's damage total easily when you actually do get hit again.
