Okay, I've done some snooping but I still have no info.
I've got nuthin'!!!
So Brent, spill.....or I won't give you a vowel....he he
I'm guessing there was a very special guest on the show? I dunno.....it's one those shows that have been around forever, that you just kind of take for granted.
Until a topic like this pops up......now I'm curious!

I guess this is it.
NJ WOMAN WINS BIGGEST 'FORTUNE' AFTER HONEYMOON
TALK about the pro verbial gusher.
Newlywed Michelle Loewenstein became the first $1 million winner in "Wheel of Fortune" history last night.
Her winning puzzle phrase? "Leaky faucet."
Loewenstein, who's originally from Edison, NJ - and now lives in LA - became an instant millionaire just four days after returning from her Hawaiian honeymoon.
"I got home from my honeymoon on a Monday, they called me on Wednesday and I taped the show that Friday," she told The Post.
Loewenstein was sworn to secrecy (along with the studio audience) about her big win and wasn't allowed to share the news with her family back in Edison.
They knew something was up - she flew home to watch the show with them last night as cameras recorded the occasion - but they had no idea she'd won $1 million.

The Million has only been available on Wheel of Fortune this season.

I think the only NFL player to ever play with an -ostomy bag hosted a daytime version of "Wheel" back in the 80s, when Chuck Woolery hosted the evening version.
But I could be wrong.

Rolf Bernischke, who played seven seasons as an NFL placekicker after his colostomy, hosted 'Wheel' for six months in 1989.

Yes, I saw it by accident at a different time then I normally watch it at (it was airing on a Canadian station much earlier then it does in America) and I just caught the tail end of the show. I watched it and I couldn't believe this person won the million because I just sat down to watch some!! It seemed like the DoND million winner, sort of felt rigged. It's just the way it all happened...
I then watched the full show again on NBC and it seemed very fake for some reason. I don't know. I thought it was interesting how it was all about Canada this week and they happened to give away they million

Of course, DoND is all luck, and Wheel of Fortune is primarily a skill game.

Skill, I guess, one has to be semi-good at the childhood game 'Hangman'.

It's not a complex skill, but it's a skill.

DoND is pure luck, though. there's absolutely no skill involved. There's a bit of basic math strategy in figuring out when the deal is in your favor and when you might be statistically advantaged to keep going, but that's it and that doesn't help you get to the $1 Million case.

I've heard that a contestant won a Million Dollars on Tuesday Night. Unfortunately, I wasn't around to watch it, I was hosting a weekly scout meeting.
