Very overcast this morning, I think its from the fog. With the look of the WV, looks like we are in for some great weather soon. 8-)

Amazing what cloud cover does to afternoon temps.

80+ all over the state, barely 70F in Jacksonville.
Tomorrow will be ~72F.

Most of the state will be 80+

Very interesting day temperature-wise in florida....very small ranges between high and low temps...leading to areas being average or below average for the high temp...and above normal for the low temp. Murky moist airmass...what a difference a week makes...no reporting station in florida with dewpoint under 50 deg. Statewide, dewpoints range from the 50s north to mid and hight 60s central and south. Compare that to the dewpoints in the 10s and 20s last week!!!

Looks like West Palm hit 79 degrees....the warm spot in the state.

Yes I was very surprised how cool it stayed all day.
I think the cloud cover kept it cool not warm, I kept thinking the clouds were going to break and let mr. sunshine in to warm us up but it never happened. Hopefully today we see some sun.Image

Three-layered state right now….clear over the panhandle and southern peninsula with a swath of clouds in between...generally 5-10 cooler in cloudy areas compared to where it has been sunny.

The hot spot in Florida today, Wed Nov 5, appears to be up where there were no clouds and ample sunshine, in Northern Florida.. it hit 80F at Perry FL.

That cloud cover kept Jacksonville in the mid to low 60s Mon-Wed.

Currently 74F at JIA.

Somethings wrong:
CITY SKY/WX TMP DP RH WIND PRES REMARKS
ST PETERSBURG CLEAR 97 64 33 NW6 29.88S HX 99

What does the HX 99 mean? Its got to be related to the 97° reading.

Has to be a false reading....otherwise it is saying a temp of 97 degrees and resulting heat index of 99 degrees!

Today's high in St Pete is currently listed as "M" for missing on the NWS Miami State Roundup....and a reasonable sounding low temp of 66 deg...must have been tech issues.

ST. PETERSBURG :SPG M / 66
