Wedding bells for Jessi???

This heard on "O'Reilly Factor" a few minutes ago; an unnamed cousin of PFC Jessica Lynch said that her comments concerning SGT Ruben Contreras, "You're my inspiration and I love you", wasn't merely an acknowledgement of his "pushing" her in P-T; she does, indeed, love him and, according to this cousin, wants to marry him. :D :D :D :D :D

Hey Bill, I saw what appeared to be an engagement ring on Jessica's left hand...so maybe. I hope it's true....Jessi deserves all the happiness she recieves and more. I wish her and Sgt. Ruben the very best :)


**Here's some more surprising and interesting news....

I learned today from the local paper (Douglas Neighbor) that former POW Ron Young Jr has CHANGED his mind since what he said on July 4th... and WILL NOT re-enlist in the army. According to the newspaper, Ron's leaving the army "very soon" and moving back here to Georgia.

Also, according to his mom (quoted in the paper), Ron is going to live with his sister in Cobb County...go back to college to obtain his masters degree....and will be a member of the Georgia Air National Guard.

I'm totally shocked.....all Ron could talk about on Independence Day was getting back up in the air in his Apache chopper--and was PLANNING to re-enlist for 4 more years. He's had a 180° change in attitude in less than three weeks time...

Perry, you have sharp eyes; the engagement ring was very clearly visible in a photo of Jessi hugging her 4-year-old niece on the front porch of her home! :D

This just in today; a family spokesman confirmed that SGT Contreras is her "boyfriend".

SGT Contreras was sitting in the front seat of the red ragtop just in front of Jessi, wearing "civvies" during the parade...Jessi was either holding his hand or rubbing his head in the Yahoo! slideshow pics I just reviewed. I must be "slipping"! :cry:
