Not a single high temperature is expected to break 70F in Tallahassee, 75F in Orlando or 80F in Miami over the next 7 days. Pretty impressive for November!

The low, according to concierge at the hotel, was 36°F on Saturday night. It sure felt like it. I went out on the beach and the wind made it feel like 25.

Extended outlook from NWS Miami...we have gotten so used to lows in the high 70's last week, it is easy to forget what is actually 'normal'...for south florida in mid to late november, that is high temps in the upper 70's to low 80's and low temps in the mid 60's.

AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIAMI FL

.EXTENDED FORECAST...THE WEATHER SHOULD REMAIN DRY
OVER MOST OF THE CWA FOR LATE THIS WEEK INTO THIS WEEKEND. SO WILL
KEEP THE WEATHER DRY DURING THIS TIME. THE TEMPS WILL ALSO BE A
LITTLE BIT BELOW NORMAL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR WITH HIGHS IN THE
70S...AND THE LOWS AROUND 50 OVER THE INTERIOR AREAS TO THE LOWER
60S OVER THE EAST COAST METRO AREAS.

The official low at Pensacola Sunday morning (nov 16) was 38F brrrrrrr Interestingly, the record was 25F set back in 1940. As cold as it was, it was far from the record.

Currently 42*F at my house; far from the 57*F at the Saint Petersburg official
station; talk about microclimates.

Warmest spots in Florida that I could find today:-

Pembroke Pines FL 77F
Ft Lauderdale Airport FL 77F

Compared to the frigid 30F at Crestview early this morning.
