What are you thankful for this year?

With Thanksgiving JUST around the corner  , what are you thankful for this year?

With these hard economic times we are facing, I know it's hard for a LOT of people to be thankful for anything!

Me, I am VERY thankful for a roof over my head that I can afford. I am thankful to be working in a field of my choice, not being forced into taking any job just to get by. I am VERY thankful for our young men and women fighting for oour country. I am VERY, VERY thankful for my loving, beautiful wife who puts UP WITH ME :ggreen: I am thankful I can worship my God the way I want. But MOST of ALL....I am VERY, VERY thankful to live in the BEST country in the WORLD! 8-)

My list of things to be thankful for is long. Most of all I am thankful for the staff at the Herderman Cancer Center.....without them I would be very lonely. They saved my wifes life.

I am thankful for the two grandsons I have and I am thankful gas has come down in price . One station here in Lakeland has it for 1.97 a gallon. First time it has been that low in 2 years!

I'm thankful that we were finally able to move and have the cash to do it with and thankful that I can thank the Lord everyday for everything.

On the lighter side of life - I'm thankful that the Phillies won. :cheesy:

I'm thankful for my family, friends, MY JOB (one that I do like, I might add), Marty, my pets - present and past, and all of life's little adventures that have made me a whole heck of a lot wiser.

I'm thankful for Storm2k and the way it's enabled me to let out my inner "weather geek" and meet a whole lot of different, interesting people. It's given me a great way to be able to interact with so many different people from all over our country and learn a lot about them and their communities.

I am thankful that my mom survived a pretty bad heart attack and my dad survived 2 strokes this year. I'll be so happy to see them at Christmas. :D
