Well folks, it's about that time once again, to continue the tradition I started 2 years ago over at TWC.......1 August will be the start of the "Place your bets here" contest. Take a stab at your areas first *measurable* snowfall.......I know.......this time of year most of us are in the middle of a heat wave from Hades but non the less.......

This year prizes will be supplied by myself, in the past, TWC powers that be supplied a TWC calender as the prize for 1st, 2nd place and runner up.....I will go thru the storm2K store and pick out the prizes.

Stay tuned.....remember, 1 August is the starting date, put on your thinking caps, pull out your stats from years past, call your palm reader "LOL" and remember to enter!

"It's time!"

Here we go folks.......3rd annual "Place your bets here" contest in now underway! Take a shot at the exact date of your areas first measurable snowfall. At stake.....1st place prize: storm2K coffee mug, 2nd closest guess: storm2K mouse pad and 1 runner up: storm2K calendar.

So come on.......give it your best shot!

Well.........this is gonna be tough for me this year, seems everything is outta whack BUT.......in a *normal* winter, my first snowfall is usually around 31 Oct.....so, I'm placing my bet on 30 Oct '03.

If by first measurable snowfall, you mean the first coating of snow - I will say December 1.

That's ok :D No problemo. I know I will be probably wrong anyway. I like playing games that involve guessing, and in the weather world. I don't just play these games for the prizes. Great contest AZ!
