Amen to that! Fortunately we won't have to wait 10 days before we see 80s again....probably just until friday or more likely saturday.

Interestingly, neither the official reporting stations at Miami or Fort Lauderdale have actually dropped below 50 deg yet in either October or November this year.

Miami 80F
West Kendall 80F
Ft Lauderdale 81F

I'm hoping these cool fronts will start taking the warm(er) SST's with them so that us here on the coast can get some cooler weather. I'm glad I live in a cooler microclimate, go anywhere N, S, E or W and the temps rise quite a bit at night.

It is a chilly one in Orlando tonight. We are already down into the middle 40s and it is only 11:30pm.

It got down to 41-42 last night here right when I was going to bed. Soon after is when the clouds rolled in and it warmed back up.

54.1ºF at 4:40 AM was the low this morning according to my thermometer.

Miami reported 58ºF, Kendall reported 49ºF.

Between wood stove smoke and light fog(?), theres almost a milky feeling outside. You can see your breath out there now too.

I have a question I need answered right away please. I have tomorrow off want to go to st pete beach temps should be around 77. But with the cooler sst's what will the ocean breezes make the temp really feel like? Bathing suit weather or light long sleeve shirt and pants? or shorts and tank top weather? Please keep in mind I hate cool weather. I get cold easy so I am not a northerner who thinks 77 feels like summer. I usually like the mid 80's. Thanks in advance. Robbielyn

SST's around St. Pete Beach are in the low 60's (61 last I saw). Its going to be around 74-75 at the beach, cooler than mainland Pinellas with a strong south wind. May get cool for the cool intolerable with the wind. I wouldnt go in the water without a cali-wet suit, but you can wear a bathing suit on the beach. Shorts and a tank top would be a safe bet.

Robbielyn, water temp at Egmont Key is 61.5 deg. Southwest winds forecast tomorrow so the beach may not get much above the low 70s. Definitely pretty cool - I wouldn't say its swim suit weather. As a side note, I live right on the water in Hernando Beach - we haven't been able to get out of the upper 60s during the day with a sea breeze when spring hill or brooksville is near 80.

Again it depends on wind speed at the time and the time of day. Early Day: mid-upper 60's, middle of the day depending on wind: Could be around 70-73 or upper 60's, Late Day: upper 60's.

A breeze blowing makes it feel like the low 60s right now. That
water temperature is keeping it colder here.
