No below zero temps for November

#1 Postby Scott Patterson » Sun Nov 30, 2008 10:37 pm

I guess it's official. We never did drop below zero this November and this is the first time since we have lived here that it hasn't happened. The coldest we had was 2F on November 6 and on that day it was 6F down town. Last April we dropped down to -5F here and -2F downtown, so early April got colder than all of November.

Previously, since we lived here the longest it has gone without dropping below zero was November 29. Long term forecast say there are still no below zero temperatures for the next seven days. Very weird, but I'm not complaining. November has just been incredibly mild.

Did you get below zero last night scott? DIA was 5 below. I was 5 above here in downtown Denver at 5:30 when I got up.

It dropped to -8 the same morning Denver was -5. Still it usually gets colder than that by now.
