Hey everyone,
I need help sending a very big file through email. I have a single file with 292 pictures in it. I have two problems. It is far too large to send through yahoo. And when I go to send it as a single file it makes me open it and send it picture by picture (which I obviously dont want to do). Is there any easy way to do it?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Bulk File Transfer
I'm guessing you already tried zip or similar utility?
You can find free versions of zip or PKZip on the world wide internet.

Re: Bulk File Transfer
Not sure if TAR is supported these days, but back in the old days using AIX at halliburton, one could tar a file or multiple files into a file or multiple files, and also compress them.

Re: Bulk File Transfer
or . . http://www.getdropbox.com/ -- Dropbox - Sync, Store and Share Files Online; Available for Windows, Mac and Linux
Nice thing about this is --- I install the program on my laptop at home. Upload files at work -- it syncs with the laptop and copies the files over to the laptop, so the files are already at home without have to download again. Or at home I can "drop" files into the Dropbox folder, the program syncs with the online "dropbox" and it is available online for d/l at work. .. . can set public and private folders too. . .
Fact789, PM me your e-mail for an invite. . . I have 13 left, so if anyone is interested, let me know . .
Recommend Evernote also, - same concept (syncing with computer) except for notes, web clippings and small files[/url] Available for Windows, Mac and Linux
