Well......most of their futures seem believable and what could happen. Gaby with two rugrats (who looked a lot like Carlos, oh Thank God!), Lynette's kids' up to trouble (current flashforward and mention of past troubles), Bree successful at publishing a cooking book and back with Orson, Katherine looking normal and daughter just engaged, but SUSAN! What happens to Mike - do I want to know? I don't know....

All I do know is Lost was superb at flash forwarding and I'm not sure I like this sort of thing on DH. Flashbacks - yes, that's the DH cup of tea. Not a flashforward though....

Finally, did you all notice how the 4 covered for Katherine and she became one of the group - just like that? Poor Edie......she was never a part of that group. Funny that they didn't even mention her, at all.

This cliff hanger left me not exactly stunned b/c they told us the show might move forward. Wish they hadn't told us! But overall, good finale.

Edie went after their husbands. . . Katherine never did.

lurker - oh I know, it's just that Nicollette Sheridan fans always seemed upset she wasn't featured with the other 4, in promo shots, etc. I chalked it up to her character, not the actress. I'm guessing her fans wished she had had a proper send off last night. Personally, Edie Britt and Paige Matheson (her role on Knots Landing) were two very different characters! Kudos to NS for pulling off such a hateful character in Edie.....LOL

Are Mike and Edie gone for good???

Loved that Gabbie blamed Carlos for her impulsive spending.

Bree pushing the ice sculpture down the street - LOL

Maynard - that was my Dad's name and it's my brother's name. We call my brother "Rip".

Edie will be back occasionally but her days as a regular are over.

Mike, no one knows, but I'm guessing unless there's flashbacks, he is gone

Oh I forgot one of the best lines last night before the time jump.

Carlos after complaining to Gaby about her out of control spending "I'm gonna go read stuff... in braille" :roflmao:!!!!!!

I don't think they'll stay forward 5 years. I think somehow they'll continue just where they left off. Maybe it will be a nightmare that Gabbie is having!!!

I knew we had a DH topic already started.

Sooooo, has everyone seen this past Sunday's episode?

How about that Lynette? Boy, you do not mess with her family.......and Andrew! So glad he's found someone.......LOL @ Bree, calling Orson "Rex" in her sleeping pill stupor. On a sobering note, I am glad Bree gave Susan the truth. Susan needs to hear that truth.

And the best part of Sunday's episode - the good new Carlos received!!!! Yeah....

Lynette is just doing what Lynette does - protecting her family. I do think Felicity Huffman plays this part to perfection. By now I am so weary of Susan's trials and antics, but Lynette's never seem to bore me. I would not want to cross her though. Tom thinks he's safe with her but he'd better just tow that line, buddy! LOL But Lynette is quick to use other measures to achieve her goals. Remember how she got out of overtime and partying with her former nasty boss Nina? LOL I rest my case.....

I thought the quick conversation between Edie and Gabby was great. At least they let Edie speak candidly and Gabby thank her for it!

I just don't see how Gabby looks as bad as she thinks she does. It's not as if she put on 50 lbs! We're talking, what 10? She cut her hair and isn't wearing makeup. How is that so bad? So are we going to see a return to the former Gabby now? Personally, I'd like Gabby to a mix of both, we know she'll return to her more attractive ways but I am hoping that Carlos' blindness and motherhood has made her less selfish. And not so vain, when Carlos can see again.

I really don't either, but that's Gabby for you. I loved when she tried to get the girls to eat healthy and Juanita retorted back about macaroni coming in a box.

The one thing that bugged me about Lynette was that she told Porter they should tell each other the truth and then after he asks her where Anne has been, Lynette lies and acts like she doesn't know.

YAY for Andrew getting a boyfriend. I was getting bored with Bree's business antics to be honest. I did get a laugh out of Orson's snoring and her reaction to it though.

Dave really is evil. I laughed when Edie said she's a good judge of character! HA! :P

Great episode tonight. So many comical scenes. Bree's dinner guests! First off Andrew and his new love interest. But then she invites the neighbors who happen to be gay as well. Sometimes Bree is so transparent! And a little too exposed, if you ask me too - cover up, will ya Marcia! LOL Anywho, that Scavo household - my gosh, do they ever have a dull day over there? Lynette would probably give her eye teeth for boring kids.......Susan/Mike/Katherine. I don't know where to start.....well I did want a reunion of sorts, expecting Susan and Mike to reunite. But now Katherine is in the middle and I've come to like her. And by now I'm weary, sooooo weary of Susan and all her troubles. Leave Mike alone! What else.....the couple who seems to have the most to live for and are great to watch (never thought I'd say this)? Carlos and Gabby. When DH premiered, I chalked both up to materialistic, selfish people. Ha! Way to go writers, way to make fans care about these 2 characters.....

I miss Mrs. McCluskey though. She'd have some sage advice for Lynette about now......

What else - oh how can I forget the plot twist we were expecting. The mystery regarding Dave. That is NOT a mystery! The plot is so simple, so obvious. I expected it to be more, to be more diabolical (given the fact that actor has the creepiest looks and eyes!).....

Next......
