Snow in SE LA. tomorrow morning?
Well local N.O. Met. Bob Breck believes it's a possibility....we shall see.
Snow coming?
In my 31 years of experience here, I recall that most snow events were NOT predicted. Tomorrow maybe one of those. NWS has 3-5" predicted for Mississippi between MCB & Jan, but none for areas farther to the south. I will not be surprised to see some measurable snow across the Northshore between 6-9 AM with some sleet (ice pellets) even on the Southshore. Once the upper low gets to our east by noon, any snow will leave and we should see some late clearing. If temperatures were a little colder, I could see several inches falling even south of Lake P. But that is not likely to happen. Should be an interesting morning!

I just don't see it happening. It will be to the north.

You may just get some of this white stuff. It's coming down pretty good and sticking here in Vermilion Parish. Schools closed in St. Landry and Evangeline Parishes. Some roads are closing as well.

I guess he was right. It's snowing heavy in New Orleans per my brother.

The funny thing is coverage is actually increasing to the west of the New Orleans.
This could go on for awhile.
