New Year starting on a bad note

#1 Postby DaylilyDawn » Sun Jan 04, 2009 4:31 pm

2009 is starting out on a bad note for my family. The Friday after Christmas my oldest son lost his job because of a conversation he was having with someone and he mentioned a gun in the conversation. He was fired for talking about a gun, had no plan to use it, doesn't even own one. Then on New Years Night, my daughter was leaving her job to come home for a bite to eat when she was T-boned by a young man who was speeding. He increased his speed as he was coming toward her. When he hit her SUV, it tipped over on its side . Luckily my daughter escaped major injury but did have some whiplash and soreness from the air bag on driver's side when it deployed. Please pray that we have better luck soon.

He sped up as he approached her car? OMG, that's terrible. Sorry to hear about her accident and your son losing his job. Your family is having a rocky start to the New Year. This may sound superstitious but when things like this happen I find they come in three's, and I quickly, very quickly declare a third. Does it stop the bad luck? No, probably doesn't but it makes me feel better anyway.

I hope the rest of start is much calmer for you all.

Miss Mary, yes I am waiting the third thing to happen. My mother also used to say bad things come in threes. The last time some bad luck like this was in 1999-2000 , my thyroid cancer, oldest son nearly dying of kidney failure and needing a transplant, then youngest son hit black ice on I 95 in N. C. and was injured very badly and had to have surgery to save his life(ruptured spleen and broken bones). I hope that the future gets better soon.

That sounds rough...sending prayers for better luck your way.

One thing that can help you feel better is to imagine a strong
river of positive energy flowing through you and spreading out
and flowing into your loved ones and friends and washing away
all negativity and bringing in positive light. Focus on the positive
river in a meditative way, imagine and visualize it; according
to some branches of paranormal investigations, it actually creates
a positive psychic shield...in any case, it brings peace of mind.

Visualize that positive river actually bringing positive impacts
to you and your family, imagine positivity and manifestations
of it in that river. This may sound silly, but several
"psychics" or people with extrasensory abilities I know
claim that it really creates a positive force field.
You just have to believe that it will actually work in creating
positive energy. According to the psychic, the stronger you
believe in the "river", the more real life impacts will occur from it.

My parents immigrated from India and have several uncles that were able
to know things and perform things by attaining meditative positivity. Many
ancient Indians did the same thing and were able to
exhibit claircognizance. Some of the ancients knew about cures to
diseases long before the advent of modern medicine...
I know this sounds silly, but there is something there

I don't understand why your son would be fired over a comment like that, but I guess that every company has their own set of rules. I'm glad that your daughter did not get seriously injured in the accident.

I hope that 2009 will begin to bring you many blessings now.

I agree with Stephanie about not understanding why your son would be fired for talking about a gun in a conversation. Sounds like someone wanted him out of there. Thank goodness your daughter was not seriously injured.

Here's wishing you a happier 2009!
