Spanish WINTER STORM DISASTER

#1 Postby Ed Mahmoud » Fri Jan 09, 2009 10:01 am

Madrid airport closed by snow

Between this, the snow in Italy, the earlier snow along the Gulf Coast, and the GFS forecast of a -8ºF morning in New York City next week, I may have to reconsider my doubts about global warming, as "The Day After Tomorrow" scenario of global warming causing the entire planet outside the tropics becoming glaciated seems increasingly likely.

Heh ... don't go swinging too far to the other side now ... :D

"The Day After Tomorrow" was so ridiculous in so many respects as to be truly obnoxious.

When -54 degrees Celcius (~-65 Degrees F) hits New York city than you can consider it the Day After Tomorrow.

Welcome to my world (sometimes). :)

Corrected to an accurate conversion (and an actual reading that we've had a number of times).
