and how in God's name have charges not yet been filed? This doctor should be executed for this crime, plain and simple. Unless killing LIVE babies is now legal

Send him to a concentration camp with Grace's parents.

Literally makes me sick to my stomach. He should never be allowed to practice medicine again.

just not allowed to practice medicine? He should not only be barred from practicing medicine, but he should be allowed to crack rocks in a quarry for 16 hours per day with little food for a term of say, 7 years.
That's 2 more than I'd give Baby Grace's mom, but in the same prison conditions that she'd be sentenced to. IN other words, a slow, painful, death sentence

As I understand the story, the doctor didn't arrive until an hour after the fact. So this seems pretty harsh.
Now the "clinic co-owner" and any of the staff who participated ought to face charges, I agree. Even though the chances of a 23-week birth surviving is vanishingly low, once they had a live birth they were obligated to do everything they could to save it.

However, he falsified medical records and the like. At least, he is guilty of obstruction of justice. Given the type of justice he obstructed... I would not be opposed to him spending a year or 2 in a camp. Doctors must know that this type of behavior is completely unacceptable.
As for whoever threw the baby in the garbage... I say build a concentration camp in the middle of the everglades (where it gets nice and hot, constant severe thunderstorms, and TONS of mosquitos... send the worst of the worst criminals there... including the one who threw a baby in the trash. Put him on a penal brigade which would have to suppress wildfires in the middle of the everglades, WITH NO PROTECTION FROM GATORS
