Well I for one will watch every episode. You never know when there's going to be a great finish. Last season's Survivor had a winner no one expected to get that far! So it was a good season....

Justin - nice to see I'm not alone. But I will say I'm like this with almost all of my shows. I'm still watching ER and have been from day one. LOL! Season 15 ends in April......I'll be a little sad to see it go.
So like you, I will watch Survivor until it's over too. And hopefully by then they're release more past seasons on DVD. If so, I'll be renting early seasons I missed.

Marshall - all you have to do is ask and we (your S2K family) would give you a huge vote of confidence!!! You're asking the wrong family!!!! LOL
I think the way to get far in this game is a combination of two things - being humble (quiet, hard working, providing no extra drama around camp) and driven in challenges.
The perfect combination, IMHO, is half Tom Westman and half Ozzy! Combine both of these players strategies (although Ozzy didn't win.....
,) and there's your formula for playing Survivor. I know there's a third component but I don't recommend it (the Fairplay way....Jonny Fairplay is one of my all-time favorite Survivors.....it's just not how I would play the game!).
Now if I were to apply, there's one aspect of the game I would have nailed, down to an art - the diet! I eat so little now so not eating wouldn't be a hardship for me! LOL

I'll check it out but I dunno if I'll stick around on a regular basis. The only recent season I really liked was when the strike was going on last year and nothing else was on. Show has gotten old IMO.

Re: TV: Survivor/Season18/Tocantins/Premieres Tonight (Feb. 12)
Reminder:
Survivor premieres tonight!
Do you all recall a schedule change last season and they aired 2 back to back episodes to kick off the season? I wish they'd do that again......sigh, one hour isn't enough with brand new players. But I'll take it.....
Don't miss it tonight!

Mary, I'm just hoping for another Tom this year!!!
Oh Karan - me too! Ole Bob didn't quite do it for me last season.....LOL!!! But I was happy he won. Yes we need another Tom!
Here's an article from TV Guide:
Survivor: Tocantins - The Brazilian Highlands
A cattle rancher, a hairstylist and a former pop star will try to outwit, outplay and outlast each other and 13 others for the title of the newest Survivor.
The 18th installment of the CBS staple, Survivor: Tocantins — The Brazilian Highlands, features, as usual, an eclectic bunch, with an age range from 19 to 53. In addition to the aforementioned three, there are two models, an army sergeant, a hairstylist and a 30-year-old multi-millionaire/entrepreneur in the mix. Check out the full cast here.
The Sweet 16 will be divvied up into two tribes from the beginning — Jalapao and Timbira — forcing them to play the devious Survivor game based on first impressions. How devious is it? One person from each tribe will be selected to stay put while their fellow castaways continue on. But, as CBS teases, they may "get a second chance to make a first impression."
Meet the cast, via individual videos, if you have time.....

*Edit* not having any luck finding our "Tom".....LOL! The guys will be happy though. Didn't click on the meet and greet videos, but glance at a few female player's pics and you'll see what I mean! LOL

Thanks for the reminder! I actually havent been watching the past few seasons, but I did get into the last one and it was good. I guess I got burnt out. I'll tune in tonight though. Brazil huh? Sounds interesting.
