At the 10:30 PM outlook they raise the systems chances a little bit as they say upper winds will be somewhat favorable so floridians you will have to watch this definitly.

A SURFACE TROUGH. UPPER-LEVEL CONDITIONS COULD BECOME SLIGHTLY
MORE FAVORABLE FOR DEVELOPMENT OVER THE NEXT DAY OR SO AS THE
SYSTEM MOVES WESTWARD...BUT ANY DEVELOPMENT IS EXPECTED TO BE SLOW
TO OCCUR.

Still not overly impressed. However, this could devleop into a depression or weak storm before impacting Florida.

That being said, not anything to lose any sleep over. Should priovide us with some beneficial rain, since we have not been getting our usual daily rains this past month

At one time, recently, the chances were just about non-existence, then they were increased to a "slight chance" and now it went up another 'level.' It at least seems that "development is likely" would be next.

As of now, "slow development is possible" is a chance of development nonetheless.

Tom, I was thinking the same thing, when I read the 5AM update. Seems like they just keep inching the possibility for development up little by little. But no doubt this has been based off the persistence of the convection and if the conditions are favorable at all for any kind of development in that area. Will be in and out all day, but will try to check on the sat. loop when I can. Very nice blow up with that area early this AM. Will be interesting if it holds its convection yet another day. We have a few other areas(that has been mentioned) as we head on out to the East Atlantic that had the map this morning filled with lots of color. Time to start closely watching.
The SAL might be an inhibiting factor this year for any type of real development. I know nothing about that,but would like to learn more on that subject.Can someone help out with more info on this, and also how long is it suppose to stick around?
Everybody have a great Sunday!! Have to head back to work tomorrow after a 2 week vacation. Yes I just keep telling myself that all good things must come to an end. :wink:
