Woman gives birth to octuplets

This will never happen but I sincerely believe the kindest thing to do now would be to place these infants with adoptive parents.
Yes they'd search for their 7 siblings later on but in the meantime their lives would be "normal".
When in reality their childhoods will be anything but normal.
And the other 6? Their lives are not normal either.

Re: Woman gives birth to octuplets
I thought that we would see a woman making history by having octuplets( That is why the initial purpose of making the thread),would behave in a better manner than what we see now,by now profiting from this.Read the latest twist below. This will be my last post in this thread as I am disgusted
by the twists and turns this has become.Read the latest twist below.
Woman Left Hospital,Interviews,Book deals comming very soon
LOS ANGELES — The Southern California woman who gave birth to octuplets last week left the hospital before dawn Thursday and announced through her publicist that she will be giving her first interview to NBC's "Today" show anchor Ann Curry.
Nadya Suleman, 33, left Kaiser Permanente Bellflower Medical Center in the early morning hours, avoiding reporters and photographers, said hospital spokeswoman Nancy Tovar-Huxen. She declined to provide any further information, saying Suleman, who has six other children under the age of 8, has asked for privacy.
Suleman publicist Mike Furtney told The Associated Press the woman was staying at "an undisclosed location" where she was confident she could avoid reporters and photographers.
He said Suleman plans to meet with Curry very soon for her first interview since giving birth.
"Of all the people she considered, she felt Ann Curry was the one she would feel the most comfortable with," he said.
Furtney said the mother was still evaluating other potential offers, including possible book and TV deals and might also do other interviews later.

Ok, the "has asked for privacy" really chaps my butt! She's just seeing $$ signs for her interviews. Did any of the articles say who was paying the hospital bills? Are we? If so we should all ask for a percentage of any of the profits she makes on the book (if anyone would buy it) and what she's getting for her interviews.

Two Compensation cases and Disability Benefits for a back injury - Was her thought "Ok, I think I'll have more kids, that should make my back feel better." And since when does being and only child qualify you as having a dysfunctional childhood? Whatever the outcome we as taxpayers will end up paying and those poor children will suffer. This woman needs extensive professional help.

And if you listen to her, it becomes obvious quickly. She lives in another world imo.

On the face of it, it is immediately obvious she is mentally ill. The state must take custody.
And the clinic that did this should be investigated, and any MDs involved should be brought up on professional, maybe even criminal charges.

I sincerely and firmly believe these children should be removed from the mother's care and placed up for adoption. So many couples want babies and you know they'd find 8 loving and instant homes for these children. They've not become attached to this mother yet. The other 6 have (that would be more tricky, removing these kids from her care as well).
Yes she doesn't sound mentally balanced. Not at all.

Re: Woman gives birth to octuplets
EVERYONE comes from a dysfunctional family - none of us were raised like the Beaver family on television.
She was darn lucky to have her parents around to help her with the first 6. This woman is totally delusional - she worked at a psychiatric facility? She belongs in there.
I personally believe that the children should be put up for adoption AND the doctors in that fertility clinic should be made to provide for these children. Totally unethical!

I have had friends who were the only child and they were happy as they were. I think there is something wrong with Nadya Suleman. Six children is enough, but adding eight more is too much.
