I don't have the stomach turmoil, but I have a really sore throat and can hardly talk. When I cough, I get a funky taste in my mouth. Hope you get better soon.

Rainband, I am glad you are feeling better. I started feeling bad after I had come home from Jury duty . The trial lasted only one day. I am going to fix the old standby meal for a sick person, chicken and noodles soup. I always add Tabasco sauce to it to help clear my sinuses.

There's two things going around up here, one is primarily a chest cough/cold with a fever (I had that one two weeks ago) and another is a stomach bug that lasts a few days. It's hitting everyone a little differently. I know that New Jersey also is under a widespread flu outbreak.

I'm glad that you're feeling better Rainband.

I went to the doctor after three days of fever and chills and he gave me amoxicillan and cough medicine. I still have a bit of a cough - it takes a long time before it goes away. It was weird because I normally get a cold with the scratchy throat, then the running nose, etc. This time, it all started in the chest and my chest actually felt tight and hurt. Then it went into a full fledged cold.
