Rainydaze is biting her nails...

#1 Postby rainydaze » Sun Jul 27, 2003 8:38 am

Hi everyone, Well today is vacation day for me and the fam 8-)
We're leaving today to spend a week in the Tampa area. I
promised my family that if there was no active TS or Hurrincane
I would leave my laptop at home  I guess if anything does
flare up this week, I will have to depend on TWC and the local
mets  Yikes!! Do ya think this Bahamas ULL will works it's
way into a system? If it does, I'm going to miss it because I'm
leaving W. Palm Beach to go to Tampa! :9:
God bless

Don't bite your nails Marie...you'll ruin them! :D

You might miss a weak, minor tropical storm...but more than that I doubt; and it looks to me like a fish (if it develops at all); likely recurving ahead of a developing trough thats beinging t-storms and cooler temps to Georgia by mid-week.

Have a fun and safe trip! :)

The latest forecast we have seen is taking the system, currently a ULL into westward (as of last night) to northwestward today toward Florida.

In any event, a tropical system affecting eastern Florida affects western Florida, too.

Have a safe trip and a great vacation. :) As Perry said no big deal with this if it develops.

Another system with high confidence of not being at all, any trouble for anyone along a a very long coastline?

The system isn't even purely tropical for model guidance and other forecasting data to indicate a movement of the feature and rightly so.

Also, the National Hurricane Center isn't exclusively indicating an ultimate northern movement of this system at this time.
