yet another senseless blood bath... and now that the killer himself is dead, who are we to blame?
its a story repeated over and over again, in different cities or towns...but the outcome is always the same.
It leaves all the survivors tramautised, asking questions.

as i heard on a radio talk show earlier, im pretty sure we will find out over the course of time that this kid was on some sort of medication, or prescription drugs or some sort of thing like that, or that he was a good kid, just caught up in his own world or the wrong crowd.
Almost always, its the same kind of killer.. a teenager, almost always male, or young man in his 20s, which tells a lot on the society we live in. We always assume boys will find their own ways, and sometimes they get neglected. Im not saying thats what happened here..and absolutey, the ultimate person responsible is the killer himself.

we need to stop blaming other people for our actions..and start to take responsibility for our own actions. We are always quick to blame the government, or society, or someone else, the parents, the teachers etc etc.
This will weigh on our minds heavily again for a few weeks, then we will go back to normal until the next shooting spree. Which city will be next? When will the madness end?
SIGH :(

I want to say that in part the stress of the global financial downturn is taking it's toll on people. Not that we won't hear about shooting sprees like this again when the economy turns around but I can't help but think that the stress we're all feeling now is pushing some over the edge.

If you're mentally ill to begin with, you can't take responsibility for your own actions. Paranoia from depression, schizophrenia, bipolar, etc. all warps a person's mind and emotions. You're right that we all need to take responsibility for our own problems and if things become too overwhelming, you need to seek help ASAP. There's no shame in admitting that you can't deal with a crisis.

This is just horrible.

Germany has having their own problems with school shootings like in America. My condolences to anyone who lost loved ones.
