I saw that report, but this is the first I'm seeing that she's being reported as "brain dead". "Access Hollywood" has picked that up as well from the NY Post and Time Out New York. I hope it's not true.

i dont really know this actress. I must get out from living under my rock.
But a sad story. Apprarently, she didnt even hit a tree or anything, she just fell down or tripped while skiing...and hit her head
So this is what makes this all the more tragic.
It could have happened to anyone.

I know who Natasha Richardson is from the movie The Parent Trap. She was the mom in the Lindsey Lohan remake who lived in England.

This is just so sad. Been following the story since the accident happened.

Like Kathy, I know the actress from the re-make of the Disney movie, The Parent Trap. Natasha Richardson was excellent in the movie, I thought. And well so was Lindsay Lohan (she was poised for a successful career, or so we thought....).

Prayers going out to Natasha and her family. She will leave behind two young sons......that breaks my heart too.

I am sitting here shocked and deeply saddened for the family tonight. I feel as sad as I did for John Ritter's sudden and tragic death. Different circumstances but such a shock. One minute fine, the next - gone. And both left behind children......that is why I feel the saddest. Natasha had two young boys to finish raising. They're without their mother now....

This is so sad

ANY head injury. especially caused by either a collision or being struck by something, needs to be evaluated by a physician right away!. This is true even if the person claims to be feeling ok.
