I voted Northeast. East Coast Florida to Carolinas would have been #2.
Just thinking of JB's perfect storm, just West of Delaware Bay, flooding Philadelphia. Hopefully not TWC's 'It Could Happen Tomorrow' (not likely, since tomorrow is still April) of a hurricane travelling NNW towards NYC funnelling the surge between Long Island and New Jersey and flooding lower Manhattan. The salt water flooding requires extensive work on the electrical components in the subway system, and paralyzes the NYC financial center for weeks. Not now, with a weak economy already.
I think, despite JB's hunch about the WGOM in June, the Gulf has a tranquil Summer, maybe just a tropical depression or weak storm of non-tropical origin that landfalls towards Palacios or Lavaca and brings beneficial rains to my house. And a few pages of Storm2K threads. If it does happen in June, and makes JB happy, that is fine, but he mentioned 1957, and that implies something like Audrey.
