Too early in the season to get excited, but that's nice early activity.

ITCZ still to far south to really get anything going as we are early yet. I expect both systems to poof after exiting the coast. Give it another 4 weeks....

ITCZ still firing this a.m., but it's pretty far south. A tropical wave in the works maybe, as Cycloneye suggested.

Not a bad looking area of convection (First Tropical Wave introduced by TPC?) considering that it has splashed into the water for around 12 hours. But no development.

Really nice looking complex. A little later in the year and we probably would have a player.

It may be a player yet. By the time it reaches the Western Caribbean/Eastern Pacific it'll be May 20th or thereabouts. Nothing developing now sure, but the energy won't go anywhere but west.
Now watch that trough by the Azores snatch it up and ruin my "prediction".

TBH I haven't got a clue what happened to that wave. Is it the one in the Antilles?
