African satellite image....

#1 Postby Johnny » Tue Jul 29, 2003 1:34 pm

Here is a good view of the African continent. Lots of convection over land which will push off into the Atlantic before too long. Anyone else have any good satellite images of Africa?

Oops Johnny - TWC doesn't like you posting your link here. We are the enemy!!!!!

Patricia

Go to http://www.storm2k.org - click on weather central - go to Atlantic and Satellite and you can get all the images you want or need.

I can't believe that TWC would stoop that low. Thanks for the direction ticka, I did not want to view their link anyway.

That's exactly what I thought at first, Linda. But then I caught myself and realized "Hey, this is TWC, OF COURSE they would stoop that low!"

I wouldn't think that TWC won't allow their images to be posted here, specifically at Storm2K... but on any board/website.

LOL OtherHD!! You are right.

Tom... TWC does not like storm2k. They have banned all members with the exception of a few just because we are members of storm2k. I believe that too!! I mean, what else could we have done to get banned. I have no clue. If you can still post at TWC be sure they do not know you are a member here. Talk about jealous!! lol.

Good grief Charlie Brown! I've never seen a message like that and I am always getting images from all over the place. Did you save the image and then upload it yourself or just try to use their link?

I understand that, Linda. I have known as long as you have that a great many members here have been banned from TWC. I mentioned a few times that I was banned for about 72 hours a few months ago. I still read and post occasionally there, but far less than I do here.

We have no proof that they may allow their images to be posted on some websites and/or boards, but not others.

Enough said.

TWC

#18 Postby wxman57 » Tue Jul 29, 2003 3:30 pm

Well, I just signed up on TWC's forum to see what happens. They sure hid the link to their forum pretty well. After spending 5 minutes searching for a forum link I ended up clicking "Site Map" and found it there.
