While I wait for the next system I have done some surfing and found this great picture of a comparison of Hurricane Andrew and Hurricane Floyd. I can't imagine the damage costs if it would have been Floyd and not Andrew that hammered South Florida.

Lindaloo. yes, about 25 billion in total damage and where Andrew hit in Florida was a relatively speaking sparsely populated( no offense to the people of Homestead etc). My point being if Andrew would have come just 25 miles north the damage total would have been much higher.That and the fact that Andrew had a relatively small wind radius and its obvious that its just a matter of time before Andrew becomes the second costliest hurricane
