Well, it looks like no state was spared. There's a few that I recognize in my area from the advertisements. They were pretty small. There's a lot of larger dealers in the area that will pick up the slack.

It's ashame, but it's not a surprise either.

Houston is losing several dealerships, all owned by the same firm/family. I know there are more than the archer dealerships in Houston, but they probably have the biggest recognition here. Some of these are relatively young(newer) dealerships at the locations they are currently at.

I wonder if they decided on the firms based on total sales volume. Are there any other large Chrysler dealerships in and around Houston? I know that the ones closing by me were rather small compared to a few others that are mega-auto malls that aren't losing Chrysler.

There are several other Chrysler product dealerships in the Houston area, some smaller and some bigger, but I don't know any facts for sure. I think it may be total sales volume as opposed to financial fluidity based on the fact they say all of the dealerships they are closing are "underperforming". They are closing a total of 7 Chrysler product dealerships in the Houston area.
