The NHC said the same thing about the Bahama system a couple of days ago so I take everything they say with a grain of salt. The convection of this latest wave to emerge off the coast of Africa has died down quite a bit compared to yesterday. I'd give it a few more days to reach some warmer water before I give it a chance.......MGC

Well convection can lead to organization but it is not the same thing. They said it is showing signs of organization, and a system can show signs of organization even while losing convection, but if the convection does not come back then it will lose its organization too.

Well regardless of what you think of the NHC they know what there talking about.. But I do agree it would be a few more days before anything could realy get going..
