Good hour long rain here right now from a cell that formed on top of us.

That will take the dry away and help the grass.

Weird early start to wet season.

80% of rain from now throughout tomorrow from the NWS for pretty much all of SFL. The rain should be arriving within half a dozen hours or so in my opinion.

We got pounded yesterday here in NE Florida.
Should be a repeat today, nothing like a Nor'easter in May to spice things up.
Next two days, highs will be in the upper 60s with heavy rain and winds.

Precipitation cloud cover over us today along May front.

Cool and rainy should activate vegetation and make tussocks sprout.

Beatles style:

"There goes the sun, there goes the sun,
and its gone for the night"

So yea, its starting to rain in my area, and its time for the water we so badly need.

I am so happy for the rain! Our pond in the back yard is getting down to a huge puddle and a lot of smaller ponds out here are completely dry. When I came home tonight in the car with the kids I saw the water in the eavesment ditches and I started yelling water, woo-hoo! The kids thought I was crazy, then I ran my car through every puddle on the side of the road all the way down my street shooting water and yelling water! I'm so glad I have this weather board to share that story with, nobody else would understand my complete joy and happiness over rain water :D ...except maybe Poo and Piglet tee-hee

100% chance of rain coming from both the Weather Channel and the NWS for my area. Should be another wet day.
