GOM: INVEST 90L

In the early morning hours here in Biloxi it's lightning and thundering, no rain although a tornado warning did recently expire east of here in Jackson County which according to weather radar was getting lots of rain. Could this be the remnants of 90L?

With severe weather season having quieted down, and hurricane season still a week away, this disturbance ended fears of Florida wildfires, helped refill Okechobee, and gave us all something to talk about.


And with a warm Pacific ENSO cycle possibly cranking bigger than expected, we may look back at this during the doldrums of Summer 2009 and be glad we had a bonus Invest topic.

This "low" has brought a heck of a squall into the area a little while ago. The streets flooded very quickly.
