Virtual Pilot Game

#1 Postby Dee Bee » Wed Jun 10, 2009 8:57 pm

Calling all geography  freaks--have a go at this quiz! The plane lands exactly where you selected. A line is then drawn to where it should have landed and your result is based on the difference in the two locations. Enjoy!

Ouch, Kathy, what's up with that?

By the way, a perfect score is 30,000. I've learned a couple places in the process.

OK kids, the wx man and self proclaimed geography weenie is about to take a shot at this. If I get a score lower than David, I'll flog myself....

edit: OK, I tried twice, but the dots over Europe kept disappearing every time I started round 2, so I guess I can't enter a score. For what it's worth, both times I scored >4900 for round 1.

I am definitely a Geo-weenie!!! Strange thing is the rest of my family seems to be severely geographically challenged.
