When and where will the next tropical cyclone fom
as stated in the other thread globally activity is very slow.
so in this thread guess where and when the next named cyclone will form?
e.g June 23 Atlantic or June 21st east pacific

I'd say Tuesday in the Bay of Campichi. Did I spell that right??

I reckon 16th June 00z JMA will upgrade the disturbance off the Philippines to a TS.

In the North Atlantic Basin anyway. I'm expecting a rather slow start this year. No named storms in June, and most likely not even in July, things should start to really ramp up in the latter half of August. Or in other words a long term historically average, to slightly below average season, something (other than 1997) we haven't seen much of in the past 15 years.
