Neither. I prefer the taste of diet Dr. Pepper and preferably the caffeine free.

Diet Dr. Pepper is my favorite as well, but with the caffeine. I really like Diet Coke as well, especially the Diet Coke with lime.

If it's a choice between Coke or Pepsi (diet for me), definitely Coke. Pepsi does not taste good to me.

Pepsi!! I like both, especially the flavored types (Vanilla!).

Dr. Pepper tastes like toothpaste!

Pepsi is too sweet. It tastes like artificial sugar packets.

I voted earlier but I probably shouldn't have since Coke up in Canada tastes different then it does in the States (not sure what is done differently here but it is different).

I didn't like the American Coke but I am addicted to the Canadian.

:uarrow: That's very weird. I haven't had Coke in Canada, but I've had it in other foreign countries and it tastes the same as in the States. Anybody know what's up with Canada?

I've found that, among my friends, Coke is sort of an acquired taste. It tastes rather different from any other type of soda, and some people simply prefer the stronger and less sweet taste.

Also, Dr. Pepper is quite good.

TYNI so how would you describe the difference between ours and the Americans???

All I can remember, it's been 8 years since we last crossed the border, is that I poured mine down a drain in Wyoming. I stuck to fruit juice for the rest of the trip.

Arbies surprised me too (the sauces in the United States are totally different than what we have up here). I'm guessing that the coke company (and Arbies) recognize that our taste buds are quite different (I remember Emeril Lagasse came up to Canada for something or other re cooking and he mentioned how he had to change his recipes for the Canadian diners (British influence maybe?).
