The SPC Day 2 outlook has the southern 2/3rds of Florida under a "slight risk" of severe storms tomorrow afternoon.

great.... Last time we had a SLGT risk there was a severe thunderstorm watch. Better not screw up my flight tomorrow.

My thermometer broke 100 today. In W Boca it hit 100.5°F today 06/21/09. 1st time ever.

that is a bit high, official miami at 3 pm are:

MIAMI MOSUNNY 96 73 47 W14 29.77F HX 105

We need 3 more degrees to break the all time at high at fort lauderdale, about 2 hours left of prime heating so i think we have a shot. 101 will do it. Just go outside and take a deep breath, big difference between the 98 we have now and the typical 90 or so during the summer.
