Lets do this again as its always interesting to follow what the ACE (Accumulated cyclone energy) numbers are for each system and how the seasons on both basins end up in the ACE stats. So those math gurus out there, lets get this thing rolling as we have the first named storm in the EPAC and that basin is already accumulating numbers. :) I will update the title after an update of the numbers for a system is posted.

That's not what I get. It looks like you went with 60kt at #9 instead of 65kt (1.8 + 0.36 = 2.16)

Code: Select all

East Pacific
Seasonal ACE
Andres   2.2225   100.00%

TOTAL   2.2225

East Pacific   leads by   2.2225

Code: Select all

Adv #   Knots   ACE
1   30   0
2   35   0.1225
3   45   0.2025
4   45   0.2025
5   50   0.25
6   55   0.3025
7   60   0.36
8   60   0.36
9   65   0.4225

As nobody posted the final numbers of Andres since it was downgraded this morning,I went to Wikipedia and found this final ACE number (3.1925) I dont know if those are the correct ones as Wikipedia has been many times wrong in the past.Where are the math gurus of storm2k? :)
