It looks like the storms this afternoon will miss my area to the east. There's still some out there developing, so I haven't lost all hope yet.

My weather alert went off a few minutes ago... it's for the Jasper area.

Storms firing to the north and outflow/seabreeze racing from the south.

And this time it looks like everything may collide on Montgomery County instead of south of me :-) I think my odds for rain today look pretty good!

I am hoping. Darn seabeeze has always been to my S for so long as the boundries drop S from the N. Maybe, just maybe today is "our day" Jason.

Wow, we're getting a really intense storm right now. I haven't seen the wind blow this hard since moving here in November. Sideways rain hitting the front door under the porch, slapping against the windows and whipping the tree limbs around. No clue how much but the dry birdbath is already overflowing and the rain is pouring off the roof. :D

It looked like it was going to miss me to my east, but I thought the storms were moving southeast. Good luck to you guys west of here!

Yep looking better, wife just went outside to get mail so it should rain any minute :D. However, we are near 2978 and 1488 and seems a lot of times, the rain stops at 2978 near Walmart but today looks like our best chance in quite some time.

Ended up with 1.35" here at the house. Nice cooldown to 71ºf after a high of 102ºf today. The lightning with this one was intense. Winds gusted around 30 mph. I guess I will have to threaten to water the lawn more often.
