This is the guy that murdered his pregnant wife?

My only regret is capital punishment is a very slow process in California.

Mine is that cruel and unusual punishment is unconstitutional. Hes lucky I aint running things, he'd WISH he was dead. :grrr:

Cruel AND unusual punishment is unconstitutional. Too many interpret that as cruel OR unusual

Just make that harsh punishment the usual punishment. Then if any judge calls it unconstitutional, we at least know he needs to watch the conjunction junction episode of "Schoolhouse Rock"

His appeal will last 30 seconds before the Judge sends him back to death row, on to more worthy cases.

I'm guessing you've never followed the progress of death row appeals. Especially in California. ;)

I wouldn't be really surprised to see Peterson's conviction reduced if not overturned outright. The case against him was extremely circumstantial.

Don't take my posts the wrong way. I'm not a big fan of criminals, especially violent criminals. I do want convictions to be airtight, though, and I don't want people effectively tried by the news media.
